The Recruitment and Selection Wing of the Pakistan Army has announced opportunities for aspiring candidates to join as regular officers. Selected candidates will serve the nation as technical engineers in the Pakistan Army. The registration process for this prestigious course is currently underway. The last date to apply for the 37th technical cadet course is March 12, 2025.

Course Requirement
Here are the following requirements for the technical cadet course:
- Age: 17-21 Years as of Sep 1, 2025
- Marital Status: Un-married
- Gender: Male
- Height: 5 ft 4 in
- Weight: As per body mass index.
- Nationality: Pakistani/Domicile Holders of Azad Kashmir/Gilgit-Baltistan.
Eligibility Criteria
- Matric/O level/equivalent education with at least 60% marks.
- FSC Pre Engineering/FSC Computer Science/A Level/equivalent education with at least 65% marks.
- Candidates applying based on first-year results must submit a “HOPE certificate of 65% marks” issued by the institution’s Head.
37th Technical Cadet Course Selection Process
The selection process for a technical cadet course consists of the following steps:
Academic and Intelligence Test
- Candidates will first appear for the intelligence test.
- Those who pass the intelligence test will proceed to take the academic test.
Physical Test
- The physical test includes a 1.6 km run, push-ups, sit-ups, chin-ups, and ditch crossing.
- Additionally, candidates will undergo an initial medical test to ensure they meet the required fitness standards of the technical cadet course.
ISSB Test
- Apirants who pass the above-mentioned will be called for the ISSB (Inter Services Selection Board) test.
Final Medical Examination
- ISSB-recommended candidates will undergo a final medical examination at their nearest Combined Military Hospital (CMH).
Final Selection
- The final selection will be made at General Headquarters based on the candidate’s overall performance throughout the process.

Registration for 37th Technical Cadet Course
To register for the technical cadet course, visit the Pakistan Army Selection and Recruitment Website. Fill out all the required details, like personal, educational, address, and others, and submit the registration form. After submitting the details, candidates can download the registration form within 5 to 7 working days. Candidates will report on the exact date and time for the preliminary test mentioned on the computerised roll number slip. As the test will be taken on a computer, the aspirant must have working knowledge of computers.
Documents Required at ASRC
The applicant must visit the ASRC on the specified date and time with their roll number and the documents listed below:
- All educational certificates, as well as equivalency certificates, are required in the case of A and O levels.
- Attested photocopies of the domicile/FRC/NADRA verification certificate.
- Computerised National Identity Card (CNIC).
- One set of attested photocopies of the documents listed above.
- 3 coloured photographs attested by the principal.
- Original as well as photocopy of ISSB “NOT RECOMMENDED” letter for repeated candidates.
