It is a great opportunity for females to serve in the Pakistan Army as nurses with the rank of lieutenant. Armed Forces Nursing Services (AFNS) is a dedicated and vital component of the military health care system. The last date for Pakistan Army AFNS course registration is August 10, 2024.

Eligibility Criteria
Aspiring candidates have to fulfill the following criteria to join the Pakistan Army as nurses through AFNS:
- Gender: Female
- Minimum Height: 5 Feet (152.4 cm)
- Martial Status: Married/Unmarried
- Weight: As per Body Mass Index
- Nationality: citizens of Pakistan and domicile holder of Azad Kashmir or Gilgit-Baltistan

Pakistan Army AFNS 2024 Registration Process
Candidates can register either through the internet or by visiting a nearby Army Selection and Recruitment Center (ASRC).
Manual Registration
For AFNS manual registration, candidates must visit ASRC with all of their educational certificates and prospectus fees.
Online Registration
Visit the official recruitment website of the Pakistan Army and fill out all the necessary details, including basic credentials, address, educational background, sports and games, nationality, and passport (if available). After verification, candidates can download their computerized roll number slip. Candidates must report by the specified date and time for the preliminary test.

Selection Procedure for Pak Army AFNS 2024
The first step in the selection procedure is the preliminary test. There will be multiple-choice questions on general knowledge, English, mathematics, Pakistan studies, and Islamic studies in the written exam.
Candidates will go through medical and physical testing, as well as interviews, at Army Selection and Recruitment Centers if they pass the written and intelligence exams. The General Headquarters (GHQ) Selection Board will interview successful candidates in Rawalpindi, Lahore, Multan, Karachi, and Quetta. For these interviews, separate call-up letters will be issued. The candidates’ overall performance will determine their final selection at GHQ.
Instructions for Trained Nurses Applying for Pak Army AFNS 2024
The Pakistan Nursing Council (PNC) practitioner license is required for trained nurse applicants. Candidates with specialized post-basic courses from a PNC-recognized hospital or institute, such as ICU, OT, and CCU, will be given preference.
