Through the PMA Long Course, aspiring candidates join the Pakistan Army as Second Lieutenants after completing training from Kakul Academy. PMA Long Course 155 Course Prerequisites
Here are the following course prerequisites before applying for the course:
- Age: 17-22 Years
- Martial Status: Unmarried
- Gender: Male
- Minimum Height: 5 Feet 4 Inch (162.5 cm)
- Weight: As Per BMI
- Nationality: Pakistani and domicile holder of Azad Kashmir/Gilgit-Baltistan. Candidates with dual nationality have to surrender the nationality other than Pakistani.

Here are following educational requirement for PMA Long Course 155:
Intermediate (FA/FSC or equivalent):
- Must secure at least 55% marks in FA/FSC or equivalent.
Graduates (BA/BSc/BA/BSc (Hons)/BBA/BPA):
- Must secure 60% or above in BA/BSc (Hons)/BBA/BPA.
- Must have 50% marks in FA/FSC or equivalent.
Serving Army Soldiers:
- Must secure at least 50% marks in FA/FSC or equivalent.
PMA Long Course Registration Process
The registration process for the PMA long course 155 is online. Candidates who want to register themselves have to visit the Pakistan Army Recruitment and Selection official website.
The registration process consists of steps, and for that, the following information is required:
- Personal information, which includes personal, address, educational, nationality, sports and games details
- Family information includes father, mother, and siblings details.
- Miscellaneous information includes brought-up details, family income, property details, armed forces training history, and civil employing details.
- Computer literacy, social media, cyber experience, medical details, hobbies, and some other information are also required for the registration process.
Upon final submission, the recruitment and selection team will verify the details, and candidates can download the roll number slip.

PMA Long Course 155 Selection Process:
The selection process consists of an initial preliminary test, which includes a written/intelligence test, a physical test, and an interview. The Inter Service Selection Board (ISSB) will assess all candidates who pass the initial test. The final medical of ISSB-recommended candidates will be carried out at a nearby Combined Military Hospital. The General Headquarters will make out the final selection list on basis of candidates performance.
Documents Required at ASRC:
Candidates have to visit the Army Selection and Recruitment Centre at the given date on the roll number slip, along with the following documents:
- Marksheets and degree certificates for all educational qualifications.
- Computerized National Identity Card.
- 3 x Passport size attested coloured photos.
- Attested Photocopies of Degrees and CNIC.
- Repeater candidates must submit the original and one photocopy of the “NOT RECOMMENDED” letter.
