The Education Testing & Evaluation Agency (ETEA) of Kyber Pakhtunkhwa has opened registration for the entrance test for 2024. The University of Engineering and Technology, Peshawar, has announced the ETEA Entrance Test 2024 schedule. The ETEA entrance test is compulsory to pass for admission to public and private engineering institutes. The Education Testing and Evaluation Agency (ETEA) conducts the centralized entrance test, and UET Peshawar supervises the entrance test.
As per the direction of the Pakistan Engineering Council, ETEA conducts the entrance test twice a year. The first UET Peshawar engineering test registration is now open. Although registration for the second entrance exam will later open,

Eligibility Criteria
Students with the following educational backgrounds are eligible to apply for the ETEA entrance test:
- Applicants who have passed the intermediate with pre-engineering, ICS, or pre-medical with additional math with at least 60% marks.
- Applicants with a post-matric diploma as an Associate Engineer Diploma or a B-Tech degree with at least 60% marks.
- Result-awaited intermediate students are also eligible to apply for the UET entrance test.
ETEA Entrance Test-I Schedule
Registration for the first entrance test will continue until June 28, 2024. The test will be held on July 7, 2024.
Entrance Test-II Schedule
Registration for the second entrance exam will open on July 8, 2024, and will continue until July 22, 2024. The second entrance examination will be held on July 28, 2024.

UET Peshawar Engineering Test Pattern
The test will consist of 100 MCQs, with no negative marking. Candidates need to secure at least 33% marks to pass the test. The test consists of physics, mathematics, English, and chemistry or computer sciences with 40, 35, 15, and 10 multiple-choice questions (MCQs), respectively, for engineering, DAE/B-Tech, or pre-medical candidates with additional math. For pre-medical students, the test consists of physics, biology, English, and chemistry with 40, 35, 15, and 10 multiple-choice questions (MCQs), respectively.
How to Apply for ETEA Entrance Test 2024
The candidate should fill out the registration form on the official website of Kyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Education Testing & Evaluation Agency (ETEA). After filling out the personal, educational, and academic information, upload the picture and submit the form. After the final submission, the system will generate a computer-generated test challan of Rs 1000/-. Applicants can pay the fee challan using Easy Pasia, Jazz Cash, UBL banking, or Nadra e-Sahaulat.
