These commissions provide opportunities for individuals to serve in key positions within the Information, Computer, and Technology Officers (ICTO) and Aeronautical Engineering Corps. ICTO and Aeronautical Course Prerequisites
Those who meet the requirements listed below can apply for the Pakistan Army ICTO-24 and Aeronautical-24 courses:
- Age Requirement: Applicants must be 28 years old as of May 1, 2024
- Marital Status: Both married and unmarried individuals are eligible.
- Gender: Male candidates are eligible to apply.
- Physical Requirements: Minimum height of 5 ft 4 in (162.5 cm) and weight as per body mass index.
- Nationality: Pakistani citizenship is a must, and candidates from AJK/Gilgit-Baltistan are also eligible. Dual-nationality holders must renounce any citizenship other than Pakistani upon selection.
Academic Requirements
ICTO and Aeronautical-24 General Requirements
Candidates need:
- Minimum 16 years of education (BS/BE) from recognized institutions with a CGPA of at least 2.5 or 62.5% marks.
- No third division or grade D, and only one second division or grade C throughout their academic career.
- Completion of a 4-year engineering degree, regardless of MSc or MCS.
- Graduation from HEC/PEC-recognized universities or foreign universities recognized by PEC.
- Completion of education from matriculation to MA/MSc/BS as a regular student.

Desirable qualifications for the above course include:
- A master’s degree (MS/MSc) in relevant disciplines with a minimum CGPA of 2.5.
- Experience of 1-2 years in Software Development or ERP Projects.
- Proficiency in languages like Java, Python, PHP,.NET, and related technologies.

Selection Process
The selection process entails course registration, a written exam, a medical examination, and a physical test. Shortlisted candidates will appear for the ISSB examination. ISSB-recommended candidates will undergo a final medical examination at the nearest combined military hospital (CMH). Ultimately, the General Headquarters (GHQ) will make the final decision based on the overall performance of the candidates.

Visit the Pakistan Army Recruitment and Selection official website. Fill out the online registration application for the desired course. Select a nearby selection center. Provide all necessary details, including basic credentials, address, educational background, sports and games, nationality, and passport (if available). The Pakistan Army will verify the details provided by candidates within 48–72 working hours. Upon verification, candidates can download their computerized roll number slip. Candidates must report on the specified date and time for the preliminary test, demonstrating working knowledge of computers as tests will be conducted on them.
