Punjab Benevolent Fund Scholarships

The Punjab government has announced Punjab benevolent fund scholarships. These scholarships are available to children of retired, in-service or deceased employees. Those students who has passed the matriculation degree with 60% marks, and studying in higher classes are eligible to apply.

Application can be submit for up to two children. However, if a child is studying in a recognized institution under special children category, application can be submit for up to three children. Students enrolling in any Inter, BA, BS, MA, or MSc classes are eligible to apply for the award. The application period for the Punjab benevolent fund scholarships is from January 1, 2024 to April 2, 2024.

Eligibility Criteria

1. Application can be submit for up to two children. However, if a child is studying in a recognized institution under special children category, application can be submit for up to three children.
2. Scholarship for three children awarded to retired or deceased, disable government employees.
3. Scholarships are available for children of deceased government officials from primary to matriculation.

Application process for the Punjab Benevolent Fund Scholarships

The head of the institute should attest the prescribed application form before submitting it by government employees. Application should be submitted, through the head of department, to the relevant office. For Punjab Benevolent Fund Scholarships, following document are required to be submitted.

1. Student B-form/CNIC copy.
2. Student parents CNIC copies.
3. A computerized copy of the 2023 or 2024 payslip for current employees or a verified copy of the PPO pension book for retired workers.
4. The applicant must submit a copy of the result card obtained from the university or board, with a minimum score of 60%. Internet downloaded result card will not acceptable. The candidate should have appeared in all subjects, with no failed subjects recorded.

The application form is available from the Administrator Benevolent Fund at the Alfalah Building in Lahore or the DC/Chairman of District Welfare Fund boards. You can also download the application from their website.
