The University of Engineering and Technology (UET), Lahore, opens the registration of ECAT for the year 2024. The ECAT test is compulsory to get admission to Punjab public and private engineering and technology institutes. The registration fee for ECAT 2024 is 2500 PKR. The last date to apply for ECAT 2024 is February 29, 2024. According to the Pakistan Engineering Council mandate, ECAT is required for admission to engineering programs in the Punjab’s public and private engineering institutes.

UET ECAT 2024 Eligibility Criteria
Anyone from any educational background with at least 12 years of education is eligible to apply for this test. Students with medical and DAE diploma backgrounds are also eligible to apply.
Registration Process
The UET-ECAT registration process consists of two steps:
Generating a Challan/Token Number for UET ECAT Registration 2024
Firstly, the student has to visit the generate challan page to generate the challan by entering his or her name and CNIC, and the challan will be generated in a pdf form containing the serial and token number.
Payment of Fee
The payment of the registration fee for UET ECAT 2024 can done in two ways:
Payment Through HBL Online Banking
If you are an HBL customer, then you can pay the UET ECAT fee through your digital app. Here is the step-by-step instruction to pay the fee.
- Login to HBL online banking app.
- Choose the “MORE” option.
- Select the “education” option from the bill payment menu.
- After choosing UET Lahore, input the Challan Number.
- Make the payment after your name has been verified.
- Your token number is the Challan number that you paid for UET ECAT 2024.
Payment Through HBL Konnect App
The step-by-step instructions to pay the fee through HBL Konnect app.
- Access Konnect on your phone by logging in.
- Press and hold the “LIFESTYLE” icon.
- Make sure to choose “education.”.
- Hold down “SCHOOL FEE.”
- You will see a list of institutions. After choosing UET Lahore, input the Challan Number.
- Make the payment after verifying the fee.
- You are now able to use this purchased Challan number as your token.
Filling out UET ECAT Registration 2024 Form
After submission of the fee, visit the registration page and open the online registration form by entering a serial number and a 15-digit paid challan or token number. Fill in all the personal information, upload a picture, select a subject combination, and select the test center.
Printing of Admit Card
After submitting all the information, a pdf report will be generated that contains credentials and a roll number. Save it and print it. This is your admit card, and you have registered for UET ECAT 2024.

UET ECAT Test Date and Time
The UET ECAT test will be held from March 11, 2024, to March 15, 2024, at the selected centers and at the allocated time.
